7Q – Dubai Marina 4K

Received my Odyssey 7Q the other day, and since 4K is now a possibility on the Sony FS700, I needed to put a bunch of my lenses to the test.

One version is the 4K, the other is a 1080p version with scaled cut-aways.

Workflow was simple, but a bit long.
Shot in 4K raw (cinemaDNG) in Slog2, set to BMD Film and exported to ProRes 422 HQ via Davinci Resolve 10.1.4
Cut and lightly graded in FCPX 10.1 using LUTility (BMD to Rec709) and Andy’s Levels

Lenses used were:

• Canon 16-35mm f/2.8
• Canon 50mm f/1.4
• Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro
• Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC
• Sigma 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye
• Sony 18-200mm f/3.5-6.4
